Work Smarter Not Harder

You’ve probably heard the popular saying“work smarter and not harder” countless times. Yet we are all probably guilty of falling into this trap over and over again, as we get pulled in a million different directions and battle to prioritise our workload and systematically work through it. So does that mean that we’re always going to be working ourselves to the point of breakdown?

Definitely not! The most successful administrative professionals know how to “work smart” and have control of their work (including their boss) and their personal lives. Instead of working yourself to a standstill and increasing your odds of having a burnout, ask yourself “how can I control my work instead of it controlling me?”
