If your organisation has only highly qualified staff that cannot be out of the office on training or completing PoEs, then third party accredited training may be an option. The new BBEEE codes clearly state that the beneficiaries of an organisation’s training spend do not need to be permanent employees.
CBM Training, through it’s Arc Skills division, runs community based SETA Accredited Vocational Training Projects for unemployed youth. The CBM/ArcSkills team will recruit learners, set up the training centres, administer the training and assist the students to find employment. Clients claim student fees paid towards either their Skills Development targets for their B-BBEE score card or to their Social Economic Development (SED) spend.
